Breastfeeding, anyone? Part 2


Okay, ni sambungan citer pasal Breastfeeding...then after we are home, i pun start my exclusive breastfeeding (BF). Mula2 semangat i sudah lemah la...bila nurse cakap ni tak ada susu ne, u better eat Fenugreek. Hmmm, okay, I ignore that, tapi it keeps playing in my head. So bila anak I asyik nangis and terbangun, I dah rasa maybe I tak ada susu. Tapi Allah izinkan I menyusukan cause tak lama lepas tu susu jadi banyak. Yes, dalam pantang susu kita akan jadi banyak cause badan kita belum boleh adjust ngan the new hormone. So dia go huru-hara for a while. Hehe.

BF is not easy okay puan-puan. Mmg leceh...almost gave up a few times. Tapi lepas tgk muka my lil princess, tak sampai hati. Lagipun benefit susu badan untuk babies ne banyak. Tapi kena be mentally and physically prepared. U akan face mcm2 cabaran, especially working mother where you have to travel and stuffs. Also tak kurangnya comment from people yang doubt about susu badan. Tak apa, dengar je la comment from these people. Tak salah, as long as kita tau apa yang terbaik untuk anak kita. Anak kita, decision kita.

I drank these Chinese Herbs yang ada kurma merah, kurma kecil, longan and stuffs untuk tambahkan susu jugak at the same time masa dalam pantang. After pantang, still continue, but I stopped cause ada sekali tu tengah boil the herbs I selamba kuar rumah g breakfast and my parents and totally forgotten about the herbs. By the time I realize dah 1 jam lebih dah that things was boiling. I rushed home and my husband was already home and looking at me with one kind. Rumah I was berjelaga with black asap. Ya Allah, nasib baik la rumah tak ada apa2.

So I cari cara baru untuk tambah susu. Safer way...pagi kat office I makan alfa alfa + madu amazing (DCL), petang Horlicks, petang balik kerja susu kambing + oats + madu tualang (any madu pun boley). Alhamdulillah, susu mmg constant. Di samping tu, kena la kerap menysukan and pump. Cause susu ni mcm business, kena ada demand, baru ada supply. Satu lagi, avoid benda2 yang ada caffein and air sejuk.

Alhamdullillah, I masih breastfeed my daughter until today...dia dah 6 months plus and dah start makan semi-solid food pun. Nanti in the next entry I would share sikit mcm mana nak prepare food for baby yang baru nak bljr makan. Believe me, I'm having a hard time myself nak feed my daughter. Tapi as time passes by, my lil princess dah pandai makan dah.Yeay!
